About Cookie Panda

Cookie Panda copies the cookies and site storage (localStorage, sessionStorage and IndexedDB) of the sites you choose into one file, encrypted by default with a password. Import that file into another Chrome profile or another computer, open the sites, and you are signed in as on the first browser. It can also keep several sign-in states in one Chrome profile and switch between them. It has no analytics and no tracking, and nothing happens until you press a button.

  • Export the cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage and IndexedDB of the current site or all open sites to a .cpanda file or the clipboard
  • Files encrypted by default with AES-256-GCM, using a key derived from your password (PBKDF2-SHA256, 600,000 iterations); the password is never stored
  • Choose the sites before you save the file, and again before you write an imported file
  • Per-site detail: cookie count, storage size and cookies that expire soon
  • Import preview that shows, per site, which cookies are new, will be replaced or are already identical
  • Undo an import: put back the previous cookies and localStorage of those sites while the panel stays open
  • Site templates: save a set of sites under a name and pick it again in one click
  • Quick export with Alt+Shift+E or the right-click menu
  • Profiles: keep several sign-in states in one Chrome profile, in a vault locked with your password, and switch between them
  • Organise profiles: colours, sort by name or last saved, duplicate, and view a profile's sites before switching
  • Save a profile to an encrypted .cpanda file, or import a .cpanda file as a new profile

  • Sync by link (optional, version 0.4.0): sign in with Google and upload an end-to-end encrypted file; the key stays in the link and the server cannot read it
